Data collection

unixepochtime.com uses Google Analytics for aggregate page view metrics (pages visited, referrer, browser type). No personally identifiable information is collected. IP addresses are anonymized.

Local processing

All timestamp conversions, timezone lookups, and JavaScript evaluations run entirely in your browser. Your inputs never leave your device.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga, _gid) to distinguish unique sessions. No other tracking or advertising cookies are used. You can disable analytics cookies via your browser settings or an ad blocker.

What stays on your device

Values typed into the converter, timezone tool, code pages, and JavaScript Date playground are processed by the browser. The site does not maintain user accounts, save conversion history, or upload entered timestamps for server-side processing. Refreshing or closing the page clears normal in-memory tool state.

• Entered timestamps and dates are not stored in a database
• Timezone selections are used by the browser to calculate display output
• JavaScript expressions in the playground run locally in the page
• Copied values go through the browser clipboard API only after you press a copy button

Analytics scope

Aggregate analytics help identify which tools are useful and whether pages are loading correctly. Those metrics are used to improve documentation, fix broken routes, and prioritize timestamp utilities. They are not used to reconstruct individual conversion inputs, debug a specific user's timestamp, build profiles from tool usage, or inspect values typed into the tools.
